ELKO EP and NOARK joined forces in the romanian market

Major changes have recently taken place in Romania, a large country in the south-east of the Balkans. The role of the main distributor of ELKO EP products was taken over by the multinational company Noark Electric, a global supplier of low-voltage electrical components for specialty manufacturing industries.

As Eugen Toma further explains, smart technologies have undergone significant development in the Balkan country over the last few years, although there is still potential for support and development: “In Romania, in the last 10 years, the technologies for smart office buildings (smart-building) have been developed more and more, and in the last 2-3 years increasingly more interest has been shown in the smart home area. This trend will continue to develop, with more and more customers wanting to equip their homes with smart solutions.”

Romania is the 7th most populous country within the Member States of the European Union. With almost 20 million inhabitants, it is a relatively large and promising market. As the representatives of the Romanian branch have told us, most customers in Romania are often partial to high quality. For this reason, the Czech company from Holešov and its products are received very positively: “The Romanian market places a lot of emphasis on quality, in over 80% of cases reliable and quality products are required.
